Here are a few of our future programs that we are planning now, however they are restricted due to funding and resources:

Advocacy
There are laws that exist here in Mexico regarding animal rights and welfare, however the issue is enforcement. If we can gain governmental support and have the legal right to enforce animal protection laws, this will allow us to save many lives and reduce violence and abuse.

Animal Rescue/Ambulance
Part of our vision is to have a mobile animal rescue program. The ambulance will circulate the town looking for injured/sick, unsterilized, and abused animals as well as provide information about animal care. The idea is to provide immediate medical attention to those in need as well as have reliable, safe transportation directly to the clinic if necessary.

Cat Trap (TNR)
The only successful way to deal with the overpopulation of feral cats is to have a committed "Trap, Neuter, Return" program. There are so many cats out there that if someone kills or removes a group of cats from a place it is guaranteed that a new group of cats will move into and inhabit that area. In Sayulita people need to accept that cats are going to live everywhere -- around your house, hotel, business, restaurant -- the only thing we can do is trap the cats, have them sterilized and put them back where they came from.  This ensures that new cats will not take over the area and that the cats that do exist in the area cannot reproduce and make more and more and more...

Caring with Compassion.
