Rocky is fixed, healthy, and well socialized. He was adopted by an American about a year ago, but that man is now ill and crippled and can no longer care for him. The other Americanwho then adopted him and had him about a year dumped Rocky in LaPenita when he went to China recently! Amazingly the first owner spotted Rocky roaming the streets and turned him over to a rescue facility there.

Mimi was thrown away by her owner because she needed medical attention for a throat infection. The infection kept her from eating. She's spayed, super sweet, and loves people and lots of attention. She's also a very brave and alert little watch dog.

Eddie was found horribly filthy, matted, parasite infested, and starving in Sayulita. He had to be shaved to the skin but is now growing a beautiful new, non-shedding coat. He's gained at least a kilo and is very affectionate, playful, and good with other animals.

This beautiful purebred female boxer was emaciated beyond belief, full of fleas and ticks, and in very bad health. A wonderful soul took her in and started treating her for her illnesses. Slowly Shakira improved and is now in good health. She limps a bit but runs and gets around just fine. Because she is so very sweet and thankful, she deserves a good home. She is spayed.

This sweet young dog has gigantic ears and an effervescent personality to match. She is happy and curious, but also polite and respectful; she knows she must sit to receive a treat or a meal. She enjoys wrestling with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves burying her nose in the sand on the beach! Bubbles' weakness is stuffed toys and pillows, so be sure to have a few stuffed animals around for her to play with. Around people, Bubbles is both calm and submissive and she is quick to obey her person. She is a medium-sized dog and has been spayed and dewormed. Bubbles will make a great addition to her forever family.

Negro was found on the highway near Nuevo Vallarta. A Sayulita resident saw him at night time beside the road, had mercy, and picked him up. He was brought to Sayulitanimals for a check up. He was extremely dehydrated, affecting his kidneys. He is in foster care but needs a home with someone that would really care for and support him on his way to health. He is super sweet, a real labrador in the best sense. Who will give him a chance to live a healthy life?

Four adorable gray and white tabby mix kittens were born to a beautiful but feral mama cat. The kittens are about 5-6 weeks old. One kitten will be adopted and we would like to find homes for the other 3 and potentially the mama cat. Two of the kittens are mellower and smaller, and two are a little more feisty. All four have been held and handled and are warming up nicely to human interaction. Easter is just around the corner - skip the bunnies and chicks this year and adopt a kitten instead!

Samsun was born in November 2010. He got adopted as a small puppy by a local family. The people left town and left Samsun too! He has no home now and lives on the street. Lita has been spayed but needs antibiotics for Erlichia, and her vaccines. Whoever brings Lita into their heart and home will be very lucky.
